GTA 6: Leaked videos confirm some rumors
Numerous theories about GTA 6 have been circulating for months, but there was nothing concrete from Rockstar Games itself. After all, after years, fans could look forward to the official announcement of the game. Now 90 files have been leaked, including videos and screenshots, some of which are a few years old but real, as industry insider Jason Schreier confirms on Twitter. “A real nightmare for Rockstar Games,” he noted.
It’s a way for fans to learn more about the upcoming game though, so there were a few rumors that were confirmed by the leaked footage:
- GTA 6 takes place in Vice City: In fact, a video has surfaced showing a figure in a subway station. A train can also be seen on which the words “Vice City Metro” can be clearly read.
- There are two main characters this time: From the leaked videos, it appears that there are really two main playable characters. The woman is Latina.
- The map is based on Miami: This rumor is also confirmed by the leaked files. However, the map could still grow.
Furthermore, the videos show that there are also places in GTA 6 that were already popular in GTA 5. Including a nightclub, a fast food restaurant and more.
Take-Two is currently trying to get the material off the internet. Whether the whole thing has an impact on the development and the release date is not known.

According to the VGC site, the hacker called Teapotuberhacker is now trying to make a decent profit from the whole thing. In a GTA forum he asks for a message from Take-Two or Rockstar, to negotiate a dealwhich sounds like evil blackmail (source: VGC).
