Change name in Clash of Clans
To change your name, proceed as follows:

Go to your home or builder’s village and click there on the bottom right on the symbol with the three gears.

Click the “More Settings” button which brings up a list of multiple options.

Here you can see various notification options and account settings. At the top you will find the option “Change name”.
You can change your name once for free. The game will also point this out to you in the form of a giant on-screen overlay with a warning finger. After you have entered the new username, you must repeat this to be sure.
And because all good things come in threes, you must finally type the word “CONFIRMATION” and then press “Okay”. Only then will you change your name. Once you’ve done that, you’ll have to wait a week before you can repeat the process again.
The next change will also require you to spend 500 gems. The price also increases, increasing by 500 jewels each time. We therefore recommend that you think carefully about the name you choose before using precious gems for it.
