As you rank up on the Star Chart in the HELM, you’ll switch three in total treasure flares free – these in turn each contain a part of the quest line “Cryptic Quatrains”. The name says it all, which is why we’re here to help you with the guesswork.
Attention: This guide is under construction and will be updated regularly.
The first quatrain is relatively simple and leads you to the moon. Once you land, the quest will update.
Step 2 of 4
Travel on the moon to the Haven of Sorrows and close it Lost Sector “K1 Revelation” away. Once you’ve opened the chest at the end of the sector, you can proceed to step 3 of 4.
Step 3 of 4
The solution to the riddle is that Strike “Fallen SABER”, which you can select in the Cosmodrome. Complete the strike once to complete the quest step.
Step 4 of 4
It opens in the last quest step Treasure hunt on Europe. Travel to the Eventide ruins in the north and go to the crane with a platform hanging from it (see screenshots). The treasure (“Coarse Cipher Fragment”) is buried on the small iceberg next to the platform.
Cryptic Quatrains 2 – Solution
Step 1 of 5
Part 2 of the Cryptic Quatraints questline begins in the dreaming city on. At the landing point, turn 180 degrees and go to the Lost Sector “Coast of Sunken Desires”. As soon as you open the chest at the end, you will get the next quest step.
Step 2 of 5
For this step you have to Strike “Lake of Shadows” complete in the ETZ.
Step 3 of 5
Solution to the quatrain: Play the new seasonal one Expedition playlist and have some sword equipped. Tip: You do not need to have a Treasure Map with you to complete this quest step.
Step 4 of 5
The end of the quest takes you to Nessus. Lands at “The Cistern” and drive to the “Well of Flame”. Just beyond the triangular entrance you can examine a point.
Step 5 of 5
Stay on Nessus and head north from the “Well of Flame” (see marker on map). At the point where the Kabal event takes place again and again, you go to the shore. Dig at the point marked in green for the second “Rough cipher fragment” and complete Cryptic Quatraint 2.
