After Pokémon Go success: Niantic joins forces with Marvel
For Pokémon GO, fans run miles and miles and even travel when certain little monsters are only in certain places. There are numerous events and even festivals – in short: Pokémon GO was and still is a huge worldwide success.
In recent years, numerous developers have tried to get a piece of the pie and launched their own AR games. This includes, for example, titles such as Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, Jurassic World Alive, The Witcher: Monster Slayer, Minecraft Earth and many more, yes none of them even come close to the popularity of Pokémon GO.
Now the Pokémon Go maker Niantic is collaborating with Marvel. Together they announce a brand new AR game, MARVEL World of Heroes. The goal is for you to create your own unique superhero identity and origin story. This includes, among other things, patrol the neighborhood to thwart crimes and complete missions.
But you shouldn’t be on your own in the game. As you evolve, you unlock gear and skills, and you can also Team up with Marvel Super Heroes like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America and moreto fight legendary super villains.

When is the game supposed to come out?
There is no exact release date yet. Marvel World of Heroes but is expected to be launched worldwide in 2023. You can pre-register on the official website to get started as soon as possible.
