10 Spectral Pages in Under 5 Minutes: “The Investigation”
The activity that will give you the quickest way to get spectral pages is this Witch Queen Mission “The Investigation”. However, you need two people to do this trick. How it works:
- Play the mission until almost the end.
- After defeating the Hive Witch, go through the gate and then stop.
- Don’t go to Finch, because that will end the mission.
Now a player has to leave the mission – by doing so the game saves the checkpoint on the character before fighting the witch.
- So leave the mission and then rejoin your friend with a different character.
- Once your colleague has received the in-game message that you have joined, they can drive to Finch and complete the mission.
- You get nine or ten spectral pages for completing it.
Now switch back to the character you left the mission with and load the checkpoint. Your friend can join you, you play the boss fight against the Hive Witch again and then go to the gate. Now you’re changing characters again. You can repeat that endlessly and stuff like that quickly farm spectral pages.
We recommend you following loadoutsto end the boss fight as quickly as possible:
- Solar Warlock: Starfire protocol with fusion grenades
- Arc Titan: Heart of Inner Light with assault grenades
- Arc Hunter: Liar’s Handshake with the Combo Strike
Public events in the ETZ
For the conclusion of public events we usually have two to three spectral sides receive. It doesn’t matter if you make the event heroic or not. So it’s best to play the normal events – they’re faster than the heroic ones. The easiest way to farm the public events is in the EDZ, as there are landing zones (fast travel points) near almost all events that you can teleport to.
Shortest Strike: Lake of Shadows
If you want to complete the weekly Xur quest at the same time, we recommend it Strike “Lake of Shadows” in the EDZ. This is by far the shortest strike, as you can simply run past most of the opponents there and defeat the boss with his measly life bar within seconds.
As a reward, at the end of the strike, we always have between four and six spectral sides to get.
