What types of sprints are there?
FIFA’s AcceleRATE system determines the acceleration of each player. Your players will be divided into three different categories:
- Explosive
- Lengthy
- controlled
Each running style has different characteristics. So worry “Lengthy” to ensure that your athletes reach a decent top speed over long distances.
“Explosive” on the other hand, allows the smaller players to react quickly over short distances and “Controlled” is a mix of sprint and top speed.
Small downer for owners of an older console: Unfortunately, the new running styles do not exist in the FIFA 23 version for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Prerequisites for all sprint types
The different running styles are referenced of certain values your players determined. So you can’t actively determine them. The following conditions are required:
explosives:
- agility: At least 65
- mobility strength: At least 15
- acceleration: At least 70
- size: At least 1.80 meters
Lengthy:
- minimum size: 1.74 meters
- acceleration: At least 55
- strength value: At least 65
To do this, the strength value At least 14 points above Agility lie.
controlled
Any player who does not meet any of the above requirements owns the Sprint Type “Controlled”.
