How many safes are there to find in The Last of Us Part 1?
In The Last of Us Part 1 are a total of four safes hidden. You need the right combination to open them. They are all noted in The Last of Us Artifacts (Guide), which you must also track down.

All Safes & Combinations in The Last of Us Part 1
The Outskirts
During the “Centre” section you will traverse high-rise building infested with clickers. At the end you end up in a subway station and have to sneak through an area with several shops. Stay to the left and you’ll come across a runner feasting on a corpse.
Silently turn him off and enter the Minute Pick shop. Behind the counter you will find a note in the drawer with which Safe combination (3-43-78). To find the safe, you have to go around the tour or through the clickers to the “Roundnote” shop. The safe is next to the runner on the shelf.
Bill’s town
If you have crossed the forest in the section of the same name, you will reach an abandoned town whose side streets are covered with booby traps. Stay on the main road and look for a red pickup. The safe is right next to it. the Safe combination (5-17-21) can be found at the end of the street on a barricade.
Pittsburgh
In the Hotel Lobby section you need to find a ladder to reach the first floor. After that, go up the broken stairs and along the wall. the Safe combination (22-10-56) lies in one of the suitcases in front of the elevator. The corresponding safe can be found in the foyer. He’s in the room behind the reception desk.
The suburbs
After the sewers, you will roam through an abandoned neighborhood with Henry and Sam in the “Suburb” section. In the last house on the right you will find an upstairs desk with an old monitor on it. Right next to it is the Safe combination (8-21-36). The safe is one floor down in the same building.
