There’s a lot to discover in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The grounds surrounding the abbey hold many mysteries. If this is your first time exploring, sooner or later you will find yourself in one dead end land.
Brittle stone walls, indestructible tendrils and insurmountable chasms block the way. In order to progress here, you must use the four words of power. These are ancient magic that you through Agatha’s quest line received.
First word: open
You get the first word of power automatically, since it is inevitably linked to the progress of the main scenario. After finding the old witch Agatha, you will automatically start her quest line.
Agatha directs you to a gigantic stone gate decorated with a large rune. Enter the portal and complete the challenge by defeated all enemies.
In battle you will be defeated by your demonic hellhound supports, who has some unique abilities. By the way, you can increase your dog’s fighting power by petting him outside of the fight.
With the first word of power let open magic doors. Use the spell to unlock the Abbey library and continue the quest line.
Second word: Reveal
For the next stone gate you have to use the second one moon seal find by collecting all elemental staves. How the quest works and where you can find all the staves, we explain in the following guide: Marvel’s Midnight Suns: Elemental staves – all localities.
In the second challenge you have to defeat a total of 16 opponents in four rounds. The enemies here are much stronger, so definitely take a healing spell with you.
With the second word of power, hidden secrets can be revealed, rare items can be found and broken bridges can be repaired. Puts the word near flagstones ones marked with the appropriate rune.
Third word: clean
Before you can unlock the next word, you must Defeated Venom in the main scenario and have obtained a symbiote sample. In order for the stone gate to open, you need a moon seal again. In this case you have to solve the mysteries of Shaw’s church and find the hiding place of three witches.
The church is north of the Valley of the Wind. Arrived at the church, a cutscene with Agatha awaits you. Explore the church and use the word “Open” to open it Workspace to expose. On the desk you will find three empty ones parchment sheets. Use the word “Reveal” to reveal three drawings.
Exit the study at the back of the church. Look around a bit until you find a cave entrance, that of a red barrier is protected. To open the barrier, you have to come along Doctor Strange speak in the abbey. After showing Strange the barrier, you will have to wait until the next evening to continue the quest.
Grab that Magic potion from the forge and travels to church. Interact with the barrier to break the spell. Investigate the room beyond to learn about the witch hunts. Go back to the church study and interact with them Drawings on the desk.
In the next step you have to find three witch hideouts and soil samples collect.
- Hideout 1: North of the stone steles. Run towards the torches, turn right once and left twice.
- hiding place 2: West of the stone steles. Run to the mysterious tomb, then turn left and climb the hill.
- Hideout 3: Follow the course of the river north, which runs to the left of the abbey.
With the soil samples, it goes back to Agatha, who will give you a new clue the next evening. Travel to Shaw’s church again and run to it destroyed bridge to the west. Use the second word, Reveal, to repair the bridge. After the bridge you have to take the first turning to the left. Shortly thereafter, turn left again to go to the destroyed tree to get.
Cast the Reveal spell again to obtain the Moon Seal. With the moon seal it goes to the next stone gate, which you find in the north. The challenge requires you survive four rounds. You can then use “Cleanse” to remove plant tendrils.
Fourth word: break
With the last word “Break”, you can finally blow up the cracked stone walls. In order to be able to complete the necessary challenge, you must three moon seal shards assemble and restore the fourth moon seal.
- Shard 1: You can find her west of the Everlasting Glade on a wooden platform.
- Shard 2: Search north of the Garden of Envy. Destroy the vine wall with the word “Purify” and follow the stone rondel.
- Shard 3: Travel to the Garden of Envy and use the word “Open” to open the passage to the east. Follow the cliffs to the top.
With the shards it goes back to Agatha, you Lilith’s garden expected. Hand over the shards and prepare for the final challenge. By far the most difficult fight awaits you behind the stone gate. Again you have to survive four rounds and defeat a total of 16 opponents. The recommended character level is level 16. Good luck!
