Cary, North Carolina – Fortnite starts a new season again. This includes, typical for Epic Games, map changes. The new Fortnite season runs from June 5th to September 17th. Of course, there are new locations and game mechanics here as well.

Fortnite Map Changes in Chapter 3 – Season 3
The new season in Fortnite is all about good mood. Epic Games calls the motto for the new season “Vibin”, which means chill in German. You can see the good mood on the new Fortnite map, especially at the new location “Rave Cave”. Loud music plays here, there’s a dance floor to fidget with, a long shooter roller coaster and lots of positive vibes. The previous age limit at Fortnite, which is 12 years, will not change for the new season.

New landscape on the Fortnite map
One of the biggest innovations on the Fortnite map is what is known as the reality biome. This is where the new Reality Falls location is located. Part of the new POI is a giant reality tree that can make you fly. The giant tree of life also gives off slight avatar vibes. Walk-in waterfalls and the new reality seedlings are also at home here.
The new reality seedlings must be planted by the players first. Over time, the rarity of the fruits growing on the tree will increase up to Mythic. A look at the map menu tells the player when it’s time to weed his tree again.
There are many blue mushrooms to be found in the new landscape, the small mushrooms will make you jump up and reward you with a little shield. This shield function of the small mushrooms returns after 20 seconds. So you can gradually fill up the shield bar to 100% and be ready for the fight.
Command Cavern becomes Rave Cave
The former base of the Imagined Order has now become a good mood cave. With the new season, Command Cavern becomes Rave Cave. A POI in Fortnite that offers players a good mood and a lot of variety.
The players have the opportunity to ride the roller coaster with the ballers, which runs through the entire place. There is also a large dance floor for players to showcase their emotes on.
Slipstreams are also making a return around the Rave Cave. Epic Games offers players a great way to get from A to B quickly. A large number of jumping surfaces are of course also included in the Rave Cave.
For particularly loot-hungry players, there is the safe in the depths of the new POI. You no longer need a key card to open the safe in the new season. Stand in front of the safe with your team and voila: Open Seasam!
The comeback of old Fortnite POI’s
Old POI’s are also celebrating a small comeback. Dusty Depot, known from Chapter 1, is now back on the map. Only one of the three warehouses survived and made it onto the new Fortnite map, but still!

The POI from chapter 2 called “The Shark” can now be found again at the edge of the map of the new reality landscape. Not much is left of The Shark either. Only the iconic shark can be found in the new season. We take it!
The big chair from chapter 1 is now part of the Fortnite map again. This POI doesn’t give the players a particularly great loot, but the nostalgia that can be felt through this simple wooden chair is definitely worth landing there.
The rebuilding of Tilted Towers
During the battle between the Seven and the IO, many players’ favorite location, Tilted Towers, was destroyed. With Chapter 3 – Season 3, however, Epic Games announced the reconstruction of the POI with “The Block 2.0”.

All Fortnite players have the opportunity to submit their creations. The best creations from selected creators are showcased in Tilted Towers for the community. The best artist is then selected and their building becomes part of the Fortnite world.
Tornadoes back on the Fortnite Map
Not only old POI’s are celebrating their comeback in Chapter 3 – Season 3. The tornadoes from Chapter 3 – Season 1 can also be found on the Fortnite map again. A tornado now rages each turn, leaving traces of destruction in its wake.
However, the tornado also offers players a great way to flee hopeless battles or rotate into the zone. The tornado spawns randomly and is shown on the minimap with a small tornado icon.
New skins in the new Fortnite Battle Pass
The new season in Fortnite also includes new skins that are part of the Battle Pass. By playing Fortnite, each player gains experience points that help level up. There are new cosmetic items for each new level.
The most exciting reward is usually obtained at level 100 in the Fortnite Battle Pass. This season, the level 100 skin is none other than Darth Vader himself. As if Luke Skywalker’s father wasn’t enough, the archaeologist and explorer Indiana Jones is also an unlockable skin in the Battle Pass.
Ride the animals to explore the new map
In the new Fortnite season, the wolves and wild boars are finally rideable. Just jump on the animal of your choice and explore the new map with your new companion in style.
The animals have a stamina bar and energy bar, which can be charged with meat or vegetables, depending on the animal. So don’t forget the snacks for you and your pet on your trip.
The ingenious thing about the new rideable animals: You can shoot and even build while riding. So it could be the case that you see a player on a boar in front of you in the base who wants to send you to the afterlife.
