Signing in to your Nintendo Account may work slightly differently in the future. The switch manufacturer has announced that the simple login options via Facebook and Twitter are being phased out. What does this mean for your account?
Nintendo Switch: No more logging in via Facebook and Twitter
Many websites or services offer you the option of quickly and easily using one Social media account or a Google account to register. This has also been the case with Nintendo so far. However, the switch manufacturer is now announcing that Facebook and Twitter will no longer be available for this from October 25th.
If you’ve previously signed in using Facebook or Twitter, nothing may change and you’ll just stay signed in. According to Nintendo, however, it can also happen that you are asked to start again with the email address and password registered for the Nintendo Account to register. After all, you now have a month to remember your password.
