Mega Aerodactyl has these weaknesses: Mega Aerodactyl has multiple vulnerabilities in combat. Rock, Steel, Water, Electric, and Ice-type attacks all deal 1.6 times their normal damage against the Pterosaur-type Pokémon. So you have a variety of strong types to choose from against the raid boss, but the boss does not have any greater vulnerabilities beyond these. You don’t have to hope for double or even quadruple damage with any of your attacks.

How many trainers do you need: As a rule, it should be enough for two of you to face Mega Aerodactyl, as long as you both have a good counter in Pokémon GO. However, if you are still inexperienced and/or don’t have a good counter-Pokémon at the start, it’s better to get a third team member on board. In addition, your Pokémon should be at least level 40 so that you have an easy time in the Mega Raid.
