Actually, Microsoft always keeps a low profile when it comes to revenue from the Xbox Game Pass. However, concrete numbers have now emerged via detours. According to them, business is doing pretty well for Microsoft, but Sony is ahead in terms of market share.
Microsoft: Sales of billions with Xbox Game Pass
With the Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft probably has 2021 $2.9 billion taken, according to documentation. With a current currency conversion, that would be at least less than 3 billion euros. The figures only refer to sales on consoles, but not on PCs. Xbox Game Pass accounts for around 18 percent of total Xbox revenue.
Normally, Microsoft does not provide any information on sales with the Xbox Game Pass, but only announces the number of subscribers from time to time. However, documents now published by the Brazilian competition authority CADE allow a first insight. The sum of 2.9 billion US dollars for 2021 is remarkable. In the documents, Microsoft talks about having a Market share of 30 to 40 percent would own. Sony assumes 40 to 50 percent, but does not name any sales. Nintendo states a market share of 10 to 20 percent with sales of 932 million US dollars. EA speaks of up to 10 percent and an annual turnover of 356 million US dollars.

The Xbox subscription with hundreds of games is for 9.99 euros to get per month. With the PC variant, customers receive access for 1 euro each for the first three months, only then are 9.99 euros due.
