If you never played the first Overwatch, after the tutorial in Overwatch 2 you only have Access to 13 of the 35 heroes in the game. You have to unlock the rest of the characters first.
How to unlock new heroes in Overwatch 2?
You get new heroes in Overwatch 2 by her Hero Challenges completed. However, they only consist of playing a certain number of online matches. It doesn’t matter which heroes you choose in the matches.
Tip: Once you unlock Hanzo after nine matches, you will get double points for wins. A win counts as two matches played.

Unlock Sojourn and Junker Queen
The two new Overwatch 2 heroes Sojourn and Junker Queen follow her five unranked quick matches free. This also gives you access to the rest of the game modes in Overwatch 2.
danger: This method only works during the first season of Overwatch 2, which ends on December 5, 2022. Then you have to unlock the two heroes via previously unknown challenges.
Unlock Kiriko
The third new hero in Overwatch 2 is a must for both Overwatch veterans and newbies to unlock. You get Kiriko through the Battle Pass. If you have the Premium Battle Pass (cost: around 10 euros), Kiriko will be activated immediately. If you don’t want to invest any money, you have to free Battle Pass at level 55 level up, then you will get the new heroine for free.
