Sony really let it rip in the short but crisp State of Play at night. On board was a whole series of new announcements and a very special controller.
Even if it was only supposed to be around ten games from the start, Sony didn’t exactly shoot with blank cartridges in the State of Play at night. Of course, the spotlight has been on some big announcements, like Tekken 8, Team Ninja’s Rise of the Ronin, or the Yakuza spin-off Like a Dragon: Ishin. But the rest had it all, including new videos for God of War Ragnarök and Hogwarts Legacy. We’ll show you what else Sony had in store.
Let’s start with God of War Ragnarokwhere Sony treated us to a three-minute story trailer that makes it pretty clear that the father-son dynamic will also play an important role in the new game.

Of Project Eve there is a sign of life again. The title was now Stellar Blade named and will be released next year as a console exclusive for PS5:

There were first reports of the action-adventure Stellar Blade in 2019, at that time still under the provisional title Project Eve. Now it will appear in 2023 for the PS5 console exclusive.
