Get Azumarill with belly drum – that’s how it works
In the following we will tell you step by step how to use an Azumarill with the Attack belly drum in Pokémon Crimson & Crimson by transferring the attack from another Pokémon to Azumarill.
Where can I catch Azumarill?
You can do Azumarill, among other things to the north of West Zone 3 catch at Caldero Lake. Just walk along the cliffs for a while until you meet one of the water-type Pokémon.
Get Hariyama with the Belly Drum attack
Go to southern zone 6 and enter the Asarilla Grotto. In this cave you will usually find a lot of Hariyama and their pre-evolution Makuhita. Hariyama learns the Belly Drum attack at level 26.
If your captured Hariyama has already exceeded level 26 and doesn’t have Belly Drum in its attack pool, there is a trick you can use to teach it the attack. Select Hariyama in the menu and it will open Manage attacks > Remind me of old attacksthen select Belly Drum and make it forget about another move for it.

Teach Azumarill the Belly Drum attack
Before broadcasting the attack, make sure you only Azumarill and Hariyama in the team have. Otherwise, Azumarill may learn a move from another Pokémon on the team.
- Give Azumarill the item Copyweed to wear and have it forget a move so that an empty move slot is available (Manage Moves > Forget Current Move).
- Start a picnic with Azumarill and Hariyama and wait for a while.
- Once you finish the picnic, Azumarill should have learned the Belly Drum attack.
If Azumarill hasn’t learned the move, start the picnic again and just wait a little longer.
