Gundam Evolution is a hero shooter that puts you in the cockpit of the most popular mobile suits. There are many different units that vary in abilities, weapons, and character stats. In our beginner’s guide, we provide you with many important tips and explain basic gameplay mechanics.

Choosing the right mobile suit – that’s how it works

In order to achieve the best possible performance, you should always choose the right mobile suit. There are many different factors that influence the right choice. is crucial the game mode and the composition of the team.

Make sure all roles are represented on the team. defender eat the most damage and should initiate the fights. supporter tend the team from a safe distance and heal damaged units. attacker deal with outgoing damage and flank the enemy team.

If you play attacking, choose mobile mobile suits, which will quickly bring you back to the front. On defense, suites are recommended that make it more difficult for opponents to advance and defend bottlenecks most effectively. The DOM Trooper is an excellent choice here, as it can plant mines and its rocket launcher doesn’t lose damage at range.

The best free suits to get you started

Sazabi

“A durable, short-range mobile suit with a recharging shield and a powerful scattergun. Its tomahawk gives it surprising maneuverability.”

Sazabi is without question one of them strongest suits in the entire game. His kit not only makes her resilient, but also gives him tremendous damage potential at close range.

The ability “enemy search” marks enemies through walls. Combined with the deadly shotgun, Sazabi is an excellent choice when it comes to surprising the opponent.

DOM Trooper

“An area lockdown and support specialist who uses missiles and mines to inflict heavy devastation on the enemy while buffing nearby allies.”

The DOM Trooper is equally suitable for attack and defense. The Rocket Launcher’s alternate fire fires a powerful one laser beamwhich can directly scrap weaker opponents.

With his mines the trooper can close corridors and cover the flanks. The ultimate ability is “Screaming Nimbus‘, which you use to rush forward, blocking all damage and damaging all enemies.

“A mobile support unit armed with two rapid-fire pistols and the ability to fly. It’s meant to join nearby allies, dramatically increasing their effectiveness.”

Methuss is the best choice when it comes to supporting your team. You can for a short time transform into a plane and so quickly rush across the battlefield.

Place your turret where it is difficult to reach. Using his repair cord, Methuss can heal allies and the ultimate “power cable” boosts a teammate for a short time.

Tips & Tricks for the fights

Kill your opponents

When you defeat an enemy in Gundam Evolution, they are not automatically dead – they still can be repaired by allies. To prevent revival, keep shooting at a downed suit until it’s completely destroyed.

Use the dash to dodge

Each suit has one stamina bar, with which you can either sprint or dash. With a dash, you catapult yourself in the desired direction at breakneck speed, allowing you to dodge attacks or take cover quickly.

Don’t waste the Ultimate

It takes a while before you get enough Energy for the ultimate ability have collected. Your ultimate can decide battles. Use them in hot team fights or to take down particularly dangerous opponents.

Learn the maps

If you want to get better, a good knowledge of maps is essential. When flanking, knowing how to stab opponents in the back or shake off troublesome pursuers is a huge advantage. Also note where you are rare medikits found to heal you in emergency situations.

Communicate with your team

No headset? No problem! In Gundam Evolution there is a simple one ping function, which you can use to instruct your team or tag enemies. If you spot a runaway, inform your team as soon as possible. Even a simple “collect” can sometimes help to prevent unnecessary solo attempts.

Flank the opponents

As an attacker, it is your job to eliminate enemy units. You have a good chance if you sneak up from the side or from behind and take aim at the opposing supporters. Some attackers are better at this than others. We recommend you Zaku II (ranged combat).
