Hogwarts Legacy: Trophy Guide – Tips and roadmap to get to the Platinum Trophy

You should follow these tips: The most practical way to make trophy hunting easier for you in Hogwarts Legacy is to choose the game difficulty. Hogwarts Legacy does not give you achievements for playing the game on a specific difficulty. So you can set it to the easiest level of difficulty and still you won’t miss anything. But there are a few other tips to keep in mind:

  • There are no trophies dependent on difficulty – you can collect all trophies on the easiest difficulty, Story
  • There are 4 trophies you can miss. For these achievements you have to find the card chamber with each house – several savegames are therefore mandatory
  • After the end of the story, you can travel the world freely and catch up on open sidequests and collectibles
  • Cast Ancient Magic (L1+R1) at least once on each enemy type you see
  • You must create separate saves where you join each of the four houses once. Each save you have to play for about 2 hours to find the map chamber.

You should be careful to use ancient magic on any enemy you have never seen before. A trophy requires you to cast ancient magic on every enemy type, but the terminology is a little misleading here. According to the in-game enemy list, there are 69 enemy types, but using ancient magic on 34 of them is enough. Many enemies only appear once in the game or as a boss and do not count towards the trophy.

This is the most practical order: Now that you know some of the key tricks for all trophies in Hogwarts Legacy, it’s time to put it all into action. With this roadmap you can relax and collect all the achievements in Hogwarts Legacy without sacrificing much of the fun of the game or using up more time than necessary.

  1. Story playthrough

At first, Hogwarts Legacy lets you just focus on playing through the game’s story. Do all the main quests, pick up the side quests that appeal to you, and collect whatever comes your way. You’ll get a good chunk of all trophies just by playing normally. But regularly remember to use ancient magic on new opponents.
  2. Side quests and collectibles

If you have completed the main quest, you can continue to travel the world as you wish and catch up on everything that you have not yet done. Here you can level up to level 40 if you haven’t already, and complete all collectibles, Trials of Merlin, and side quests. Effectively, you have to complete the game 100% once. It is important for this that you learn all spells in Hogwarts Legacy and bring Alohomora to level 3.
  3. Find the card room with all four houses

Once you’re completely through with the game, all you have to do is tie up a few loose ends. In the end it’s all about the map chamber, which you have to find once for each of the four houses. So start three new saves with the houses you didn’t choose in the first save and play them all until you get to the map chamber. So you should have bagged the last trophies.

If you did everything right, you should be the proud or proud owner of a new platinum trophy on your account according to this order. However, just in case, always keep an eye on the achievements you have already unlocked, so that you don’t forget something in the heat of the moment. Luckily you can’t miss anything, so you don’t have to worry about restarting the game from the beginning if you make a mistake.
