In Clash Royale (also abbreviated as CR) you can build your perfect battle deck from the 107 existing cards. Of course, with so many choices, it’s easy to lose track. With the new Deck Builder you can create the ideal deck. In this guide we will show you where to find this builder and how to use it.

Use Deck Builder
The game has also had dueling decks since the summer 2022 update. This one lets you use the easily overlooked but handy ingame deck builder. If you have an empty set, click the gold crown and a category will be suggested. There are a total of seven relevant categories, of which it is best to have at least one card in your deck:
- Big magic
- air counter
- tower defender
- mini tank
- Little magic
- Tower Destroyer
- Diversion
The eighth category is called “Any” and is up to you alone. Three cards are also suggested to you for each deck slot, which you can select directly. Elixir costs are always mid-range, so feel free to experiment with the tool until you find your perfect hand.
Unfortunately, this option is not yet available for the normal battle decks. However, you can also find a remedy here. Create a duel deck and click on the button with the deck of cards and the arrow on the bottom right. From there, select “Copy” and go back to the Battle Decks.
Here you tap on the button with the three white lines at the top right and select “Paste”. Now you have the decks from the dueling section in the normal battle deck. By the way, you can use the “copy and paste” option with any deck, both from clan players and from other players.

Use external deck builder
If you are not satisfied with this tool, you can also use the offer of the Stats Royale app. It scans all your received cards and compares them with the currently most successful decks in the game. He then suggests ten decks that will bring you success.
To do this, go to the “Deck Builder” button and enter your gamertag there. This will factor your cards into the builder and suggest the best decks for you.
