The Nintendo Switch is the perfect console for on the go and even if the power goes out, you can use it thanks to the battery – at least for a few hours. You can now extend this time extremely with a handy power bank specially tailored for the console.
Nintendo Switch: Doubles or triples the battery life
As part of a Kickstarter project, Enerjoy announces a kind of power bank that was specially developed for the Nintendo Switch. It comes with the normal and with the Pro version two different models – both offer you three different ways to charge your Switch and Joy Cons:
- On the console itself for mobile gaming
- On the controller grip to charge the Joy Cons while playing
- Can be used as a wireless charging station for up to 4 Joy Cons
But how much power does the battery have? While you have a battery life of 2.5 to 6.5 hours with the older Switch console and 4.5 to 9 hours with the new model, you can double or even triple the runtime with the product. Enerjoy promises one for the normal model extended runtime of 9+ hours. With the Pro model it should even be 18+ hours (Source: Kickstarter).
The battery should be compatible with both the normal and the OLED model and offers a USB-A and a USB-C connection.
